Free BBQs are located within the central part of the beach and in direction of the south of the seaside close to South Maroubra Surf Club. There are outdoor showers, a big changeroom and toilet and lighting. To the north of the seashore are Jack Vanny Memorial Park, Mahon Pool and the rocky headland.
Travelling along the Heritage Highway, you’ll pass via historic sandstone towns similar to Ross, Richmond, and Campbell Town that echo the exhausting labour of convicts.
